Mare Crisium

Mare Crisium is named after a lunar mare, a vast, dark plain on the Moon formed by ancient volcanic activity. Known as the “Sea of Crises,” Mare Crisium is a prominent feature on the Moon’s surface and has long captured the curiosity of astronomers and dreamers alike.

For Milbank Drive, the concept for this album was simple: the Moon is pretty fascinating. There is no deeper theme here, just a genuine appreciation for that bright, beautiful object in the night sky. Each track title in the album connects to the Moon in some way, reflecting its phases, features, or phenomena, creating a subtle thread that ties the album together.
